Published: “Here, Already.”

What a way to close out 2023.

Here, Already.” was published in Issue Seventeen of Grim & Gilded — an online literary magazine — today. It’s a piece of flash speculative fiction that I wrote earlier this year when I had climate anxiety. It’s short, just 486 words, and weird beyond all measure. But I enjoy writing things that raise an eyebrow and may have various interpretations. It’s a story unstuck from time and a contemplation on a life, the memories that stick with us, and death.

You’ll find I put my own life experiences into everything I write—including fiction. So, whether I release one of my half-finished novels one day or stick to short online publications, I just want you to know that I’m doing what I love and finding joy in writing again. I hope you enjoy it!
